Authentic Ancient Roman Gold Wedding (Handfast) Ring with stylised clasped hands and garland over hands intaglio stone.  A Roman Wedding consisted in part of the hands being tied together  - hence our common phrase 'tying the knot''.

Circa 1st - 2nd Century AD.  Unearthed in Eastern Europe.
