This authentic bronze Roman Christian ring was found at a Roman site in Ancient Thracia and dates from 500 - 700 AD

The engravings are Byzantine in style. The bezel is a flat, oval shape that measures, 12mm X 10mm This ring gives us a nice motif of an early Christian cross. The design on the bezel is a well executed "figural" cross. The Cross is very deep and crisply engraved. Instead of the usual terminal decorations like the three balls which is more common, this example has a cross-bar and a circular design done at the end of each arm of the cross. This design was expertly done. 

This ring is a PERFECT example of Early Christian Devotional Art and will be a perfect addition to ANY collection of Ancient Artifacts
